Gladys W. Hoffer
Age 87, of East Canton died Friday, March 17, 2017 in Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center. Born June 2, 1929 in Petersburg, PA. to the late Marshall and Grace (Edmiston) Rupert. She was an East Canton resident most of her life and a member of Living Hope Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Tony” Hoffer in 2005; two daughters, Catherine Smith Wines Wilcox and Linda Allen; a son-in-law, Larry Denning; three grandchildren; one sister and three brothers. She is survived by four children and spouses, Louise Denning of Waterford, OH, Richard and Theresa Hoffer of Canton, Judy and Daryl Kirkpatrick of East Canton, Patty and Ralph “Buddy” Hooper of Canton; two sons-in-law, James Wilcox of Marlboro and David Allen of Canton; 23 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; 41 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1:30 pm in Living Hope Church, 327 Trump Ave NE, East Canton, OH. 44730, with Pastor Duane Miller officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church from 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
