Geraldine “Gerry” Souders
Age 82, of Canton, passed away Friday September 25, 2015 in Brookdale Senior Care Center following an extended illness. She was born January 27, 1933 in Massillon, OH to the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Swihart) Brediger. Gerry was retired from Massillon State Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. “Tex” Souders in 2004; one brother, Richard Brediger. Gerry is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa and David Morris of Crozet, VA; one grandson, Jason Morris; one great-grandson, Jayden Morris; brother-in-law, Ron Souders; special friends, Ralph and Donna Martinelli; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 30, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Vander Schuur officiating. Friends will be received Tuesday 6-8pm. The family would like to thank Brookdale Community and Brookdale Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
