Gerald H. "Bud" Snyder
Age 83, of Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday July 11, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. He was born January 16, 1929 in Canton to the late Donald and Mildred (Engle) Snyder. Bud was a 1947 graduate of East Canton High School and a Korean War Army veteran. Bud was a Waynesburg area resident most of his life and a member of Indian Run Christian Church. He retired from Colfor Manufacturing, Inc. after several years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Olive Fallot. He is survived by his wife, Joyce M. (Stoffer) to whom he was married 58 years; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bob and Sandy Snyder of N. Canton, Randy Snyder of Canton; one daughter, Maureen Snyder of Canton; two granddaughters, Sarah and Amy Snyder both of N. Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Suzie Snyder of Mapleton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, his twin sister, Geraldine Ridgeway of Minerva, Kate and Calvin Mottice of Mapleton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday July 16, 2012 at 11:00am in the Indian Run Christian Church with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services on Monday at the church (10-11am). Memorial donations in Bud's honor may be made to Indian Run Christian Church at 8368 Hill Church St SE, East Canton, OH 44730.
