George R. Swan
Age 91, of East Canton, passed away Wednesday May 3, 2017 in Stone Crossing Nursing Home. He was born December 21, 1925 in Canton to the late Howard and Dorcas (Giffin) Swan. George retired from the East Canton Church of God after 24 years as custodian and was formerly employed by North Canton City Schools and Weber Dental. He was an active member of the East Canton Church of God and was a Navy veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan F. Swan in 2015. George is survived by three children and their spouses, Linda and David Werstler, Jon and Teresa Raber, Sandra Swan; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be Saturday May 6, 2017 at 2:00pm in Robertsville Cemetery with Pastor Greg Smith officiating.
