George G. Miller
Age 79, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday September 17, 2012 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. He was born October 2, 1932 in Canton to the late James Ralph and Josephine (Fox) Miller. George was a life resident of the Canton area and was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. He retired from Republic Steel Berger Division after 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Arthur and Samuel Miller; one step-granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Ruby E. (Finley) to whom he was married 54 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mona and Alan Miller of Canton, Kathy and William Moore of Waynesburg; two step-sons, Karl Hermann Jr., Ron (Cindy) Hermann all of Canton; three grandsons, William (Samantha) Moore II of Canton, Ricky (Betsy) Moore of Norton, John Michael Miller of Canton; three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Carpenter of East Canton, Eileen (Jim) Cogar of Canton; two special friends, Walter Bair and Roger Stutler. Funeral services will be Thursday September 20, 2012 at 8:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Harry Sevald Jr. officiating. Friends may call two hours before services on Thursday (6-8pm). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Aultman Hospice at 2821 Woodlawn NW, Canton, OH 44708.
