George Fehn
George Fehn, age 83, of Louisville, died December 25, 2005 in his home following an extended illness. Born August 4, 1922 in Canton, OH. to the late George and Anna (Kobel) Fehn. He was a Louisville resident for the past 50 years and was a WWII Army veteran. George retired from LTV Steel, Berger Division, in 1973 after 33 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post # 548, VFW Post #7490 and Post #3747, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2374, Louisville. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, VanDora Fehn, to whom he was married 56 years; two brothers, Joe and Frank Fehn; three sisters, Anna Witmer, Verna Ziros and Julie Callon. Survived by one step-daughter and her husband, Judy and Lewis Kelly of Maximo; one step-son and his wife, Donald and Jan Eakin of Saucier, MS; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Fehn of Louisville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. Friends may call one hour before services on Thursday (1:00-2:00pm). Interment will be in Mapleton Cemetery, Tuesday January 3, 2005 at 10:00am.
