George S. Curlutu
age 89, of Canton, passed away Sunday December 6, 2009 in his home. He was born May 7, 1920 in Yorkville, OH. to the late Simon and Flora (Miku) Curlutu. George was a Canton area resident most of his life and retired from Avis Truck Rental after 25 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers, Andy, Jerry, Benny, Steve and Rudy Curlutu. He is survived by his wife, Linda C. (Carpenter) to whom he was married 46 years; one son, Travis Curlutu; a special nephew who George raised, Richie Sullivan; four grandchildren, Alex, Nate, Casey and Jesse; one sister, Mary Curlutu; three brothers, Simon, Adam and Danny Curlutu; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday December 9, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
