Gene R. Myers

Age 84, of Canton died Monday, January 10, 2022 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born June 9, 1937 in Canton, Ohio to the late Arthur and Iola Myers. Gene was a Korean War U.S. Air Force veteran and a retired air traffic controller. Gene attended Mt Tabor United Methodist Church, was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and had been a former boy scout leader. Preceded in death by four brothers, Fred, Donald, Art and Bobby Myers. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Louise A. (Ullrich) Myers; seven children; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Patty (David) Casner; numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
