Gene A. DeVore
Age 85, of Magnolia, Passed away Friday October 28, 2016 in Hennis Care Center of Bolivar. He was born May 4, 1931 in Canton to the late Ralph and Georgia (Nelson) DeVore. Gene was a Korean War Army veteran and retired from the Teamsters Local #92. He was a member of Eden Church of the Brethren and a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois DeVore; two sons, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by three sons Michael (Pam) DeVore, Kenny Devore and Tommy DeVore (Judy McCarty); four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister. The family would like to thank the staff at Hennis Care Center for their wonderful care. There will be no public services.
