Gary L. Walters, Sr. age 51, of Canton, died unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, April 27, 2006. Born in Guernsey County, OH. on July 27, 1954 and was a Canton area resident since 1957. Retired from Republic Steel in 2001 after 28 years of service. Preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Walters, Sr. Survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Gary L, Jr. and Tenile Walters of Waynesburg, Richard Walters of Canton; four daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Robert Williams of Waynesburg, Sarah and Jeffrey Kelly of Canton, Davie and Vernon Harter of Canton, Abigail Walters of Canton; five grandchildren; mother, Glenna L. Walters of East Sparta; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Walters of East Sparta, Howard and Lovlene Walters of Canton, Alva Walters of East Sparta, David and Michelle Walters of Navarre; three sisters and brother-in-law, Linda, Kay and Ray McClelland, Edna all of East Sparta; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
