Gary D. Motter
Gary D. Motter, age 66, of Carrollton died Friday, May 2, 2008 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born in East Sparta, OH. on July 16, 1941 to Robert H. and Dorothea Motter. He was an East Sparta resident most of his life, having resided in Carrollton for the past year. Formerly employed by the Stark County Sheriff's Department and member of the Army-Navy Club Post #150. Preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Motter. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Charlene S. (Baus) Motter; his mother, Dorothea Motter of E. Sparta; six children and spouses, Norman and Renee Lee of Canton, Michael Lee of Canton, Debra and Michael Mizer of Carrollton, Chandra Motter of Tuslaw, Lora Weaver of E. Sparta, Charles Weaver of E. Sparta; eight grandchildren, Antonio and Angelo Mizer both of Carrollton, Tonja Lee of Bolivar, Zachary and Tishani Lee both of Massillon, Maegan Motter of Toledo, Ivan Ray IV of Canton, Jeran Hayes of Tuslaw; one brother, James Motter of E. Sparta; one sister and brother-in-law, Cherie and Frank Dugan of E. Sparta; special cousin, Pat Heiser of N. Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the family to defray costs at 4041 Cleveland Ave. S., Canton, OH. 44707.
