Frederick βDanβ Grosskopf
Age 71, of East Canton died Friday, January 5, 2018 in his home following an extended illness. Born October 25, 1946 in Canton, Ohio to the late Frederick D. and Rachel E. (Hoover) Grosskopf. He was a life resident of East Canton and had served with the Ohio National Guard for 21 years. Dan retired from the Hoover Company and had also been the owner/operator of DHS Containers. Preceded in death by his step-father, Jason Shearer and one great grandson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wilda E. (Haynes) Grosskopf; five daughters; one son; 12 grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan 10, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terri Bailey officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 β 7 pm.
