Franklin D. Pfeffer
Franklin David Leo Pfeffer died Tuesday, December 25, after losing a short but hard-fought bout with pancreatic cancer. He passed while surrounded by his loving wife, Deborah Pfeffer and his five children, Kristine Kochur, Regina Bowe, Gervase Pfeffer, Cindy LaVoie and Travis Pfeffer. Frank was known as “Pampa” to his 11 and soon to be 12 grandchildren, who love him dearly. He is also survived by two brothers, William and Dennis Pfeffer; one sister, Joyce Pachuta. A born and raised farm-boy and long-time employee of Hydrothrift, Frank could make or fix just about anything. His love of gameshows rivaled his love of sports, but nothing could surpass the love he had for his family. In true Frank-fashion, rather than saying goodbye, we’ll say, “I’ll see you around if I don’t see you at the square.” A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at 10:00 am in St Anthony/ All Saints Catholic Church, 1530 11th St SE, Canton, OH 44707, with Fr Tom Kraszewski and Fr Ernesto Rodrigues as Cocelebrants. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 – 7 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Assoc or Community Hospice.
