Frank R. Minor
Age 87, of Canton, passed away Sunday October 8, 2017. He was born May 27, 1930 in Flushing, OH to the late Frank H. and Ethel M. (Shannon) Minor. Frank was an active member of Mt. Zion Community Church where he formerly served as a Sunday school teacher and served on the cleaning committee. He retired from Canton Drop Forge in 1995 after more than 45 years of service. Frank is survived by his wife, Betty M. (DeVault) to whom he was married 67 years; three children and their spouses, Deborah and James Morris, Daniel and Robin Minor, David and Kimberly Minor; seven grandchildren, Jami (Kevin) McKinney, Eric (Lake) Minor, Matthew Minor, James (Trista) Morris, Benjamin Minor, John Minor and Nicole Minor; eight great-grandchildren, Kevin, Austin and Savannah McKinney, Cirene Minor, Tori, Jason and Jordan Morris and Jacqui Blose; two sisters, Betty (Norman) Hookway and Joyce (Kenneth) Miller. Funeral services will be Thursday October 12, 2017 at 11:00am in Mt. Zion Community Church with Pastor Bruce McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends will be received Wednesday 5-7pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Thursday (10-11am).
