Frank Habrun
Age 88, of Bolivar, passed away Friday August 12, 2011 in his home following a brief illness. He was born March 23, 1923 in North Industry, OH to the late John and Agnes (Zabojnik) Habrun. Frank was a life resident of the East Sparta and Bolivar area and had attended Canton Township High School. Frank was a self-employed dairy farmer his entire life. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jean (Crawford) Habrun in 2008; two sons, Don and Dean Habrun; two brothers, John and Joseph Habrun; four sisters, Mary Bennett, Helen Danay, Pauline Herbert and Agnes Meyer. He is survived by four children and their spouses, Dennis and Jo Habrun of Strasburg, Nancy and Eric Spillman of Bolivar, Gary and Catherine Habrun of Beach City, Todd and Cindy Habrun of Bolivar; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Doherty; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Margaret Baringer of Canton, Eileen and Robert Herbert of North Industry;sister-in-law, Louise Habrun; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday August 16, 2011 at 1:00pm in the Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Dixie Hendricks officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 5-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services on Tuesday at the church (12-1pm). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist at 7344 Ridge Ave SE, East Sparta, OH 44626 or Crossroads Hospice of Green at 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Green, OH 44685.
