Frank M. Brothers
Age 91, of Canton died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born June 18, 1921 in North Industry, OH. to the late Carl and Agnes (McVann) Brothers. He was a life resident of North Industry and a 1939 graduate of Canton Township High School. Frank was U.S. Army WWII veteran where he served with the 876th Airborne Engineers. He retired from Canton City Schools in 1983 with 33 years of service. Frank was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church where he formerly served on church council. He also was a member of the Canton South AARP. Preceded in death by his wife, Lila M. Brothers in 2010; two brothers, Vern and Bill Brothers. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Brothers; one daughter and best friend, Claudia Brothers and David Corsi; one grandson and spouse, Matthew and Emma Brothers; one brother, Tom Brothers. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at 11:00 am in Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3828 Cleveland Ave. S., Canton, OH. 44707, with Rev. L. Scott Bacon officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church from 10-11 am. Memorial donations may be made to Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
