Foster R. Waers
Foster R. Waers, age 73, of East Canton died Monday September 1, 2008 in the Acute Care Specialty Hospital following a brief illness. Born December 25, 1934 in Canton to the late Elias and Mildred (Vincent) Waers. He was an East Canton resident most of his life and was of Christian faith. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1992 after 27 years of service. Foster was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Louisville aerie#2374, United Auto Workers Union Local#542, Colonial Lanes Senior Bowling Leagues. Preceded in death by two brothers, Ray L. and Lawrence Waers; brother-in-law, Wayne Lillie; niece, Debbie (Lillie) Morris. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynn B. (Carney) Waers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Shawna Waers of Louisville, Christopher and Jennifer Waers of Louisville; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Steve Tant of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren, one great grandson; three sisters and brother-in-law, Florence Lillie of East Canton, Donna Jean and Wilbur Deaton of Canton, Shirley Ann Walker of Canton; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jack and Marge Waers of East Canton, Art Waers of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday Sept. 5, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Jim Lee officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 6 – 8 pm.
