Florian F. Holva
Age 86, of Clarksville, TN and was formerly a resident of Canton for 56 years. He was born February 11, 1928 in Gates, PA to the late John and Mary (Skolnik) Holva. Florian was a graduate of German Township High School, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Canton Township Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from The Timken Company after 44 years of service and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Canton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Holva in 2010; three brothers, John, Joseph and Bernard Holva. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Sandra Holva of Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren, Sarah Holva and Sean (Candi) Holva; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Ray Winters of East Sparta; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Steve and Rose Holva of East Lake, Ohio and JoAnn Holva. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 28, 2014 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Fr. Benson Okpara officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
