Florence O. “Tiny” (Thompson) Sickafoose, age 82, passed away Monday January 14, 2008 in the Laurels of Massillon following a brief illness. She was born January 28, 1925 in North Industry, OH, to the late David and Cora (Fetters) Lewis. She was a life resident of the Canton area, retiring from Edmont Wilson Rubber in 1981 after 26 years of service. She was a member of North Industry Christian Church and the Ford Retirees. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Thompson; second husband, Warne Sickafoose; two sisters, Mildred Reynolds and Venetia Schario; one brother, David Lewis. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Janet Thompson of Florida, Tom and Diana Thompson of East Canton; three step-daughters and spouses, Carolyn and Carl Herr of Florida, Nancy and Bill Schumacher of Malvern, Dora and Jay Jones of Kentucky; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; one sister, Esther Teeple of North Industry; a host of nieces, nephews and close friends who loved her deeply. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8pm.
