Florence K. Michaels
Florence K. Michaels, age 86, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday January 31, 2007 in Aultman Hospital. She was born May 4, 1920 in Parkersburg, WV, to the late J. Louis and Eva A. (Parmiter) Winner. Florence was a Canton area resident most of her life, retiring from Social Security Administration in 1986 after 20 years of service. She was a member of Christ Memorial Church, Robertsville and Order of Eastern Star Chapter #190. Florence was a devoted and loving grandmother and an avid, accomplished quilter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Michaels in 1962; one sister, Catherine Lenart. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Diane Michaels of East Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Richard Schneider of Catonsville, MD; three grandchildren, Kara and Emily Michaels of East Canton, Todd and his wife, Erin Michaels of East Canton; two sisters, Mary Winner of Athens, OH, and Eva Lou Carrico of The Plains, OH; two nephews, John and Bruno Lenart; one niece, Mary Lou DeLongchamp. Funeral services will be Monday February 5, 2007 at 11:00am in Christ Memorial Church with Rev. E. Jeffrey Lord officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday 2-4pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church (10-11am).
