Florence T. Huey
Age 89, of Canton passed from this life Monday, November 26, 2012. Born July 28, 1923 in Adena, OH. to the late Carl and Tracy (Runevitch) Gavorcik. She was a graduate of Cadiz High School. Florence was an accomplished gardener and her beautiful gardens brought joy to family, friends and neighbors as well as herself. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. Preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Gavorcik. She is survived by five children, Carolyn (George) Musisca of Canton, Gary (Linda) Huey of Canton, Patricia (Kevin) Andrews of Rock Hill, SC., Timothy (Eva) Huey of Georgetown, IN. and Cynthia (Robert) Denison of Ravenna; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Gene Gavorcik of Carrollton; one sister, Joan Spiker of Scio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Sat. Dec. 1, 2012 at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Care Center.
