Florence Boekel
Age 78, of Louisville, passed away Monday November 7, 2016 in Mercy Hospital. She was born November 30, 1937 in Patras, Greece to the late Peter and Maria (Andreou) Plomaritis. Florence was a Louisville resident for the past 16 years and retired from Altercare of Navarre after 17 years of service. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Massillon. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Boekel in 1988; two brothers and one sister. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Liza and Terry Rancour; four grandchildren, William and Stephanie Dimos, Nicholas Dimos, Maria and Madison Dimos, Kosta Dimos; one step-grandson, Brandon Rancour; one great-grandson, Mason Dimos and three sisters. Funeral services will be Friday November 11, 2016 at 11:00am in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Massillon with Rev. Fr. Constantine Shiepis officiating. Burial will be in Massillon Cemetery. Friends will be received one hour before services at the church (10-11am). There will be no family gathering following services.
