Faye E. Smith
Faye E. Smith, age 76, of Canton, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday September 12, 2006 unexpectedly in Aultman Hospital. She was born August 8, 1930 in Canton to the late Lewis and Anna (Zimmerman) Kuhn. Faye was a life resident of the Canton area and was formerly employed by Stark County Christian Academy (SCCA). She was a faithful member of 38th St. Church of Christ where she was active with the Missions Committee, Young in Heart, Ladies Sewing, the Food Cupboard and served as a cook at the Northeastern Ohio Christian Youth Camp for many years. Faye had also served as a volunteer at Aultman Hospital. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willis C. Smith Jr. in 1999; two brothers, Leslie and Russell Kuhn. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Anna Smith of Perry Twp., Richard and Ruth Smith of Canton South, Kenneth and Kelly Smith of Perry Twp; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Greg Trbovich of Canton, Karen and Stanley Perry of Florida; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Sefert of Perry Twp; one brother, Guy Kuhn of Lorain, OH; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday September 15, 2006 at 11:00am in the 38th St. Church of Christ with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday (tonight) 5-8pm in the church and one hour before services on Friday (10-11am) in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to SCCA at 2651 Market Ave N., Canton, OH 44714. The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
