Evon C. Franks
Age 66, of Canton, passed away Saturday May 25, 2013 in Affinity Medical Center, Massillon. She was born January 15, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND to the late Magnus and Lila (Briese) Johnson. Evon was a Canton area resident since 1970 and was formerly employed by the J.C. Penney Company. She was an avid reader, reading more than 100 books a year and had a wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her husband, Murdy E. Franks to whom she was married 45 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Melaine and Allen Keeton of Canton; one son, Jeffry Franks and Sarah Smith of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Ryan, Alyson and Lily Moon; one sister, Gene McKeever of Duluth, MN; one brother, Neal Martin of Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be Tuesday May 28, 2013 at 7:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Friends may call one hour before services on Tuesday (6-7pm).
