Everett David Richards
Born in Doddridge County – Oxford, WV went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2017 at age 87. Son of the late Lora and John Emmit Richards. He was a Canton area resident since 1950 and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He was the founder of Canton Bandag Co. and part of Everich Co. He has given his life to helping people especially with their tire needs. A member of the Canton Baptist Temple and was a 32nd degree Mason of the Local#60 Canton Lodge of Canton, OH. Preceded in death by his wife, Joy Ann Richards. He is the proud father of four children, Everett D (Candace) Richards Jr of Canton, Rebecca (Douglas) Gross of North Canton, Daniel (Pati) Richards of Minnesota, Kimberly (Greg) Sloan of California; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 12:00pm in the Canton Baptist Temple, 515 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708, with Rev Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the church from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
