Evelyn L. Weaver
Age 91, formerly of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday July 22, 2014 in Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center following a two year illness. She was born April 1, 1923 in Mapleton, OH to the late Austin and Bertha (Krider) Marks. Evelyn was a Waynesburg area resident most of her life. She was a former member of First Christian Church, Canton for many years and more recently was a member of Paradise United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Weaver in 1993; one brother, Earl Mark; two sisters, Vera Duvall and Arline Dayton. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Leonard E. Weaver of East Canton, Melvin R. and Rose Weaver of East Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Ed Gerzina of Hartville; two grandchildren, Ralph Weaver of Louisville, Jennifer (Kevin) Willaman of Uniontown; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Marks; two sisters, Ethel Simunich and Joanne Varian. Funeral services will be Friday July 25, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Indian Run Cemetery.
