Evelyn Marie (Wildes) Waers

Evelyn Marie (Wildes) Waers, age 89, of East Canton, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 in her home.

She was born on October 16, 1933 in Barnesville, OH to the late Willis and Edna Wildes.

Evelyn enjoyed craft making; word find puzzles; playing cards; cookouts and loving her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ray (Pam) Waers of Paris, OH; Gary Waers of Canton; and Ricky Waers (Dawn Turnbull) of Canton; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, Ray L. Waers and three brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at 4pm at Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Chaplin David Oliver Kling officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to express our gratitude to Crossroads Hospice for their care and services.  A special thanks to Dawn for her loving support and care for Evelyn.
