Evelyn J. Clapper
Age 93, of East Canton, passed away Saturday July 13, 2013 in Aultman Hospital. She was born June 13, 1920 in Malvern, OH to the late Howard and Dorothy (Bixler) Burwell. Evelyn was a Robertsville and East Canton area resident most of her life. She was a member of Christ Memorial Church, Robertsville and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4741, Minerva. She retired from Merit Plastics in 1982 after 14 years of service. Evelyn is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Hellyer and Pauline Haines; one brother, Tom Burwell; special friend, Jackson DeVault. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Boyd "Eddie" and Jackie Clapper of Canton, Dale and Sandy Clapper of East Sparta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Norman Wise of East Canton, Susan and James Shirley of Robertsville; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Burwell of Malvern and Kate Clapper of Minerva.
