Eva Jean Mayer

Eva Jean Mayer, age 85, passed away on September 3, 2023.

She was born on July 19, 1938, in Woodsfield, Ohio, to Jesse and Laverne (Saffle) Stephen.

Eva was a 1957 graduate of Canton South High School, member of Moreland Christian Church. She was an avid camper and loved to do puzzles and crafts.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Brenda (Mark) Oser, Loretta (Dean) Lowman; five grandchildren; Rhonda, Randy (Courtney), Erin (Danny), Denise (Michael) and Ethan (Kasey); six great-grandchildren, Samuel, Gabriel, Jacob, Mikayla, Olivia, and Hannah; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, John (Mary) Mayer, brother-in-law Jim King, great-granddaughter Genevieve and her husband, Floyd Mayer Jr. who died on July 22, 2023.

A visitation will be 10-11 am with funeral service at 11am, Thursday, September 7, 2023, in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Homes with Jeff Franks officiating.

Eva will be laid to rest in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
