Eugene W. King, age 76, of East Canton, passed away Wednesday November 7, 2007 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. He was born November 22, 1930 in Canton, to the late John F. and Alice C. (Blend) King. Eugene was an East Canton resident for the past 4 years, prior to which he had resided in Tallmadge, OH. for 30 years. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a member of the American Legion. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou King in 2004; two sisters, Patricia Radalia and Beatrice King. He is survived by six sisters, Rosemary Karrer of Canton, Lucille Zwick of Louisville, Carol Stegmann of Las Vegas, NV, Kathleen Wise of Paris, OH, Beverly Salvaterra of Canton, Jacqueline King of Antiock, CA; two brothers, Thomas King of Minerva and LeRoy King of East Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call 4-6pm, Monday November 12, 2007 in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with a prayer service at 6:00pm.
