Eugene E. Frank, age 86, of Canton died Friday August 15, 2008 in his home. Born May 6, 1922 in Canton to the late Robert and Marie (Bachel) Frank. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1940 graduate of Canton Township High School. Gene was a WWII Army veteran and retired from Republic Steel in 1976 with 41 years of service. Gene was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton South AARP and Mercy Senior Friends. Preceded in death by one brother, Robert Frank; one sister, Miriam Frank. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy E. Frank; six children and spouses, Harry Brenner of Canton, Nancy and Kenneth Zajac of Northfield, OH, Timothy and Robin Frank of Amanda, OH, Patricia Frank of Land O Lakes, FL, Jeffrey Frank of Trinity, AL, Barbara Frank of Canton; 12 grandchildren: 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday Aug. 18, 2008 at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 – 5 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
