Ethel Maxine Carper
Age 83, of East Canton, OH. died Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Hennis Care Centre following a brief illness. Born October 3, 1928 in Lewis County, WV. to the late Henry Lee and Mary Virsie (Henline) Williams. She was a 1946 graduate of Victory High School in Clarksburg, WV. and had been an East Canton resident for the past 26 years prior to which she resided in Mineral City, OH. She was a member of East Canton Church of God. Maxine was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always let her family know she loved them. She always had a friendly smile for everyone she met. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Carper in 1996; a great granddaughter, McKayla Helwig; one brother, Clifford Williams; one sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Blaine Harbert. Survived by three children and spouses, Linda and Denny Snyder of East Canton, Lee and Peggy Carper, Lynne and Dan Carte of Scio, OH; four grandchildren and spouse, Denny and April Snyder, Denise Snyder, Daniel Carte and Jason Carte; 10 great grandchildren, Conner, Jacob, Elijah, Nathanael, Nicholas and Gabriella Snyder, McKenize Levy, McKenna, McKaiya and Logan Helwig; one brother and sister-in-law, Brooks and Helen Williams of South Padre Island, TX; one sister-in-law, Pat Williams of West Virginia. Friends may call Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 6-8 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Additional services and burial will take place in Weston, West Virginia. Memorial donations may be made to the East Canton Church of God.
