Ernestine C. Tolley
Age 75, of East Canton died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Visiting Nurse Services Hospice and Palliative Care in Akron. She was born July 7, 1935 in Hampton, TN. to the late Charlie J. and Maggie (Cable) Clark. Ernestine was an East Canton resident since 1964 and a member of Valley Chapel Brethren in Christ Church. She was formerly employed by Dalton Garment Factory for 28 years and retired from Aultman Hospital in 2000 after 10 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Martin Tolley in 2006; two sisters, Elsie Tolley and Roxie Clark; four brothers, Stewart, Rosco, Elmer and Mack Clark. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Thomas Searfoss of Canton; one grandson, Thomas Searfoss of Canton; one granddaughter, Tiffany Searfoss of Cleveland; two great grandchildren, Zakary and Sierra Searfoss; four sisters, Bernice Harrold of Manchester, TN., May Grafton of Leesburg, FL., Ivalee Morgan of Roan Mountain, TN., Betty Jo Berry of Elizabethton, TN.; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday (Tonight) from 5-7pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Additional services and funeral will take place at Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton, TN.
