Erma M. Anstine
Age 88, of Magnolia died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Hennis Care Centre, Bolivar. Born August 12, 1923 in Goshen, IN. to the late Harry and Maude (Sommers) Speicher. She was an East Sparta and Magnolia resident most of her life. Erma was a member of Howenstine Christian Church and Harsh Bible Church. She was also a member of the Ohio Wagon Train Association, Golden Agers and an 18 year member of East Sparta Fire Dept. Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband, Sylvan Anstine in 1986; five brothers, Franklin, Harry, Vernon, Chester and Marion Speicher; two sisters, Marie Rohrer and Viola Cullimore. Survived by four children and spouses, Robert R. Anstine of Magnolia, Betty J. and Jim Triffun of North Canton, Dona S. and Carl Roush of East Sparta, David P. Anstine of Magnolia; three grandchildren, Julie (Ron) Schmucker of North Canton, Susan Irwin of Sandyville, Richard Anstine of Canton; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Triton Anstine; three brothers, Barney, Emanuel and Lewis Speicher; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Hennis Care Centre, Community Hospice and a special thank you to Abby and Lauren of Hennis for their wonderful care given to Erma. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Mark Black officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 pm.
