Age 27, of Canton died unexpectedly Saturday, August 21, 2010. She was born May 3, 1983 in Canton to Thomas Kent and Beverly A. (Westover) McConnell. Erika was a 2001 graduate of Central Catholic High School and was employed by Macaroni Grill. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with her GP and watching basketball especially her favorite player, Shaquille O'Neal. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Kent McConnell; grandmother, Joanne McConnell; grandparents, Roland and Arlene Westover. Survived by one son, Jakob Kent Dunn; mother, Beverly Schisler of Canton; two sisters, Kristin and Kathryn Schisler both of Canton; grandfather, Thomas P. McConnell of Canton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10-11 am.
