Edna B. Ley
Edna B. Ley, age 87, of Canton, died Sunday April 16, 2006 in Country Lawn Care Center following an extended illness. She was born April 8, 1919 in Station 15, near Dennison, OH. to the late Joshua and Pearl (McLandsborough) Brown. She was a Canton area resident most of her life and an avid supporter of the Canton South High School programs. Member of North Industry United Methodist Church. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Ley in 1976; one daughter, Carol Jean Ley; two grandchildren, Brian Hexamer and Christa Hampton; six brothers and two sisters. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Ron Reed of Canton, Judy and John Hexamer of Canal Fulton, Darlene and Ron Hampton of East Sparta; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Jill Ley of Magnolia; 11 grandchildren, Laura Weaver, Ron Reed, Leslie Hopping, Vicki Crable, Kurt Hexamer, Beth Hampton, Debbie Nash, Dwayne and David Hampton, Jason and Joe Ley; 8 great grandchildren, Sarah, Julia and Andersen Weaver, Jesse Reed, Elliot Adkins, Destiny Hampton, Finnabair Callahan and Brandon Ley. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 19, 2006 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Rev. David Ross officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call one hour before services on Wednesday (12-1pm). Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association at 4815 Munson St. NW, Canton, OH 44718.
