Emma Jean Koehler
age 74, of Canton, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 in the Canton Christian Home following a long battle with cancer. She was born January 2, 1935 in Canton, to the late Herbert F. and Lottie B. (White) Koehler. Emma Jean was a life resident of the Canton area and retired from Malcolm Insurance Agency after 22 years of service. She was a faithful and life member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a past member of the Canton Civic Opera and the Canton Entertainers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, David Koehler. She is survived by one sister, Patricia Wessels of Canton; one sister-in-law, Lois Koehler; six nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 11:00am in the Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Michelle Nickodemus officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services on Wednesday at the church (10-11am).
