Emily E. Riggenbach

Age 32, of East Canton, passed away Saturday May 14, 2022 in the Cleveland Clinic. She was born May 1, 1990 in Canton to Dale E. and Elaine (Starkey) Riggenbach. Emily was a 2008 graduate of Louisville High School and was formerly employed by the Olive Garden for several years. Emily was a graduate of nursing school that she had attended in California. She greatly enjoyed hiking, the beautiful outdoors and was an avid cook. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John “Jack” Starkey, Earl and Lorraine Riggenbach. Emily is survived by her fiancé, Ben Remillard; mother and stepfather, Elaine and Tim Kleckner; father and stepmother, Dale and Pam Riggenbach; grandmother, Ethel Starkey; two half-brothers, Konner and Kameron Ruhrup; one half-sister, Emma Kleckner; five stepsisters, Rebecca (Kleckner) VanHouten, Jessica (Kleckner) Kight, Janel and Deanne Graham and Sonja Fatherly; many extended family members and good friends. A celebration of life gathering will be Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 6-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Stark County Humane Society in Emily’s memory.
