Emanuel "Goody" Aguredakes, age 78, of East Canton, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 in Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born Aug. 28, 1927 in Canton, OH. to the late Speros and Amealia (Freide) Aguredakes. He was a life resident of the Canton/ East Canton areas and a WWII Navy veteran. Retired from Babcock and Wilcox in 1983 after 23 years of service. Attended Mapleton United Methodist Church. Golden Member of the Eagles Club North Canton Aerie # 2223. Also member of Christian Home Builders Class at Bethany United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by a son, Teddy Aguredakes; a daughter, Karen Ann; a great-granddaughter, Marissa; three sisters, Martha Moser, Agnes Smith, Dorothy Ebey; a brother, Clarence Hemmerling. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Beatrice "Cherree" (Nuske) Aguredakes; two sons and daughter-in-law, Norman and Cathy Aguredakes of Minerva, Scott Aguredakes of the home; one daughter, Annette Aguredakes of Canton; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, George Aguredakes of North Canton; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Melvin Browning officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 - 9 p.m.
