Elvira A. Manzella
Age 82, of Canton, passed away Monday January 12, 2015 in the Chapel Hill Community. She was born March 15, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Anthony and Elvira (Maferdonia) Ianacone. Elvira was a Canton area resident since 2007, prior to which she had resided in Florida. She was a member of St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church, Canton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Manzella in 1983; one brother, Albert Ianacone; two sisters, Elaine Rainwater and Gloria Mazzucca. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Rose Ann Manzella of Canton, Paul and Anna Manzella of Florida; one granddaughter, Brittany (Jeff) Heinzmann of Florida; one grandson, Vincent Manzella of Florida; one brother, Gerard Ianacone of Colorado Springs, CO; numerous nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be Thursday January 15, 2015 at 10:00am in St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church with Fr. Craig McHenry as celebrant. Friends will be received Wednesday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Thursday (9-10am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 70 W. Streetsboro St., Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236 or the Parkinson's Association at 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305.
