Elsie M. Dietz, age 97, of Canton died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 in Altercare of Navarre following an extended illness. Born August 25, 1910 in Canton to the late Clayton and Jenny (Hines) Anderson. She was a Canton area resident most of her life and member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Elsie was formerly employed by the Aultman Hospital Pharmacy and was a secretary for various attorneys. Preceded in death by her step-mother, Stella Anderson and two brothers. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Joan Dietz of Bolivar; four grandchildren and spouse, Ron Dietz of Massillon, Judy Dietz of Leavenworth, KS, Jackie and John Miller of Galena, OH, Randy Dietz of Canton; two great grandchildren, Ashley Dietz of Akron and Brandon Dietz of Canton; two brothers and sister-in-law, Earl and Carol Anderson of Canton, Gene Anderson of Canton; several nieces and nephews. Private family services and interment were in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Pastor Linda Hall officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 2705 6th St. S.W., Canton, OH. 44710. Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
