Ellen L. Long, age 76, of East Canton, died Wednesday July 11, 2007 in her home where her son, Gene cared for her for the past 15 years. She was born April 20, 1931 in Reynoldsburg, WV, to the late Wesley G. and Alma (Willoughby) Lamm. She was an East Canton resident most of her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Long in 1992; two brothers, Wesley Lamm and Holly Goddard. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Patrice Long of Canton, Gene Long of East Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Dennis Close of Sebring; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Curtis Willoughby, Arthur Knight and Earl and Louise Lamm; two sisters, Edna Drumpuss and Jeanette Keeton; one sister-in-law, Betty Lamm. Funeral services will be Monday July 16, 2007 at 10am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Hunt officiating. Internment in Henry Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 6-8pm in the funeral home. The family would like to thank Ellen's nieces, Carole and Nancy, her brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Louise Lamm and Aultman Hospice for their support and comfort at their time of need.
