Ella Mae Erwin

Ella Mae Erwin, age 98, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Bethany Nursing Home. She was born on October 23, 1926, in Senecaville, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Harriet (Wilson) Brown. Ella had been a proud resident of the Canton community since 1950.

Ella was a devoted member of Crossview Worship Center and Grace Fellowship/ Compass North Church, Canton campus. A loving homemaker, she cherished caring for her husband and son. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Erwin; son, Michael Erwin; and six sisters and four brothers.

Ella's memory will be lovingly cherished by her grandchildren, Spring Hartman, Misty Reed, Josh (Rosemary) Erwin, and Christina Erwin; her great-grandchildren, Ryan Farley, Logan Erwin and Vincent Erwin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and their families.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th at 11 a.m. and a funeral at Noon at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Stephens to officiate. Ella will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
