Elizabeth A. Young
Elizabeth A. Young, age 62, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday November 18, 2006 in her home. She was born March 5, 1944 in Canton to the late Robert Z. and Celestia (Leach) Pitman. Elizabeth was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1962 graduate of Perry High School. She had attended the Canton Baptist Temple and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3228 Auxiliary, Sandyville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a special friend, Sonya Boron. She is survived by her husband, Roy F. "Skip" Young to whom she was married 44 years; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lori and Paul Pirolozzi of Mineral City, Rhonda Geer and her fiancee, Lloyd Troyer of Canton; five grandchildren, Gary and Jacob Cross, Ronald, James and Roy Geer; one sister and brother-in-law, Waneta and Jim Roffey of Newark, OH; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Carol Pitman of Manchester, OH, Stokes and Jerry Pitman of Canton; special friends, Steve Geer, Christina Friley, Ruth Pastore and "Kimmy". Funeral services will be Tuesday November 21, 2006 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 5-8pm in the funeral home with Eagles Auxiliary services at 7:00pm.
