Elizabeth Momirov
Age 87, of Canton passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born April 28, 1924 in Port Arlington, Ireland to the late Edward and Katherine (Hagen) Whelan. She was a Canton resident since 1946 and a member of Woodmen of the World. Preceded in death by her husband, Martin Momirov in 2011; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and Norman Janecek of East Canton, Judith Momirov of Cambridge, OH; one granddaughter, Stephanie Janecek of Louisville; twin great granddaughters, Amanda and Kayla Janecek; three sisters, Kathleen Keegan, Rita Gallagher, Phyllis Colgan all of Ireland; one brother, Edward Whelan of Ireland; numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public services and a private inurnment will be in Mapleton Cemetery.
