Eldridge H. “Ed” Whitmer
Age 89, of Bolivar, passed away Wednesday August 3, 2016 in Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born April 10, 1927 in Canton to the late Harry and Elsie (Lehner) Whitmer. He was a 1944 graduate of McKinley High School and retired from The Timken Company after 38 yrs. Ed is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Kay Whitmer; one son and three brothers. He is survived by four children, three step-children, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, one step-great grandchild and one sister. Friends will be received Tuesday (tonight) 5-7pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Wednesday August 10, 2016 at 11:00am in Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating.
