Eileen Herbert
Age 87, of Canton died Friday, August 21, 2015 in her daughter’s home following an extended illness. Born July 8, 1928 in East Sparta to the late John and Agnes (Zabajnik) Habrun. She was a life resident of the East Sparta/Canton area. Eileen retired from Canton Local Schools. She was a member of North Industry United Methodist Church and was active in many card and square dance clubs. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Herbert in 2014; three brothers, John, Joseph and Frank Habrun; four sisters, Helen Daney, Agnes Meyer, Pauline Herbert and Mary Bennett. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Vicki Herbert of Louisville; one daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Charles Milligan of Orrville; six grandchildren, Dan (Chelesa Wolfe) Herbert, Adam (Elizabeth Manners) Milligan, John (Lauren) Herbert, Andy (Andrea Kelley) Milligan, Matt (Brandi) Herbert, Aaric (Kayli Swank) Milligan; four great grandchildren, Issac Robert Herbert, Rylie Eileen Milligan, Kennedy Herbert, Mason Herbert; one sister, Margaret Baringer; one sister-in-law, Louise Habrun; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at 11:00 am in the North Industry United Methodist Church, 155 Faircrest St. SW, Canton, OH. 44706, with Pastor Jeri K. Johnson officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church from 10 – 11 am. Memorial donations may be made to North Industry United Methodist Church.
