Edythe W. Goulden
Age 83 of Perry Township died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in her home following an extended illness. Born May 13, 1927 in Bellaire, OH. to the late James and Kathryn (Herbert) Patterson. She was a Perry Township resident most of her life and retired from Perry Local Schools with 20 years of service. Edythe was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church where she was involved with the Sociable Sixties, United Methodist Women, sang in the Chancel Choir and was director of the Goldenaires. She also was a member of the Diebold Retirees, Richville PTA and was a former Girl Scout Leader. Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur in 2003; three daughters, Penny Kay Goulden in 1950 and Clara Hartman in 2002, and Lois Jean Miller in 2006; a son-in-law, David Hartman; six brothers and three sisters. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Michael Kracker of Massillon; a son-in-law, John Miller of Canton; three grandchildren, Carissa Williams, Zachary Kracker and Rodney Hartman; four great grandchildren, Natalie, Ashley, Emma and Noah; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at 11:00 am in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 6025 Shepler Church Rd., Navarre, OH. 44662 with Pastor James Zimmerman and Rev. Paul Gerycz officiating. Interment in Freeport Cemetery, Freeport, OH. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church from 10-11 am. Memorial donations may be made to Otterbein UMC Memorial Fund or Aultman Hospice.
