Edwin P. Shepherd
Age 73, of Homeworth, OH, passed away Sunday January 18, 2015 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. He was born September 22, 1941 in East Canton to the late Arlie and Dorothy (Wess) Shepherd. Edwin was a Homeworth resident since 1979 and retired from Republic Engineered Steel in 1997 after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2374, Louisville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Marlyn Sukosd. He is survived by his wife, Kim B. (Gott) to whom he was married 34 years; three children, Sharon (David) Kibler, Donna (Douglas) Pliszka and Michael (Lisa) Shepherd; four grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Smith. Funeral services will be Thursday January 22, 2015 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
