Edwin Darrell "Doc" Ross
Edwin Darrell "Doc" Ross, age 61, of Louisville, went home to be the Lord Saturday July 9, 2005 in his home. Born in New Milton, WV, to the late Howard and Octavia Blanche (Putman) Ross. He was a Louisville resident for the past four years, prior to which he had resided in East Canton for 35 years. He was employed by Ergon Trucking Company, which was formerly Quaker State, for 35 years. Member of The Chapel in Marlboro where he was active with the church softball team for many years. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Ross and one sister, Sarah Lou Leggett. He is survived by his wife, Pat A. (Matz) Ross to whom he was married 39 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Kim Ross of Louisville; one daughter, Traci Ross of Canton; four grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jacquez, Jordan and Derek; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Ross and Winnie of Sygnet, OH, Everrett and Candy Ross of Lowell, OH, Charles Ross and Nancy of Canton, Bill and Sheri Ross of East Canton; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Maragaret and James Bryant, Rosalee Dodgens, Ramona and Richard Grange all of Greenville, SC, Mary Bee of East Canton, Barb and Glendall Smith of Pennsboro, WV; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Ron Christiansen officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9pm in the funeral home. A private family committal service will be in Union Cemetery, East Canton.
